Three-Race Finale Puts Pro and Am Championships on the Line at the Brickyard
Indianapolis, Ind. (Tuesday, October 6, 2026) – Forte Racing heads to Indianapolis Motor Speedway this week for the final three races of the 2026 McLaren Trophy America season with championships on the line and all four of its McLaren Artura Trophy Evo entries looking to close the year on a high note.
The season-ending event will feature an unusual three-race format, with the make-up race from the rain-affected Miami event joining the regularly scheduled final two rounds of the championship. Racing will take place Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, giving drivers three opportunities to score points and leaving little margin for error as the championship battles are decided.
Forte Racing enters Indianapolis leading two of the championship fights. Tanner Harvey and Patrick Liddy arrive atop the Pro standings in the No. 24 Cypress Land Company entry following their overall victory at Road America, while Cooper Broll leads the Am championship in the No. 100 PiedParker McLaren. Kaia Teo enters the finale second in the Pro championship alongside Paul Holton in the No. 8 Sigma Plastics entry, while the No. 53 Race for RP program arrives at Indianapolis with momentum following podium finishes at Road America and looks to close out a strong season of competition while continuing to raise awareness for relapsing polychondritis and other autoimmune diseases.
No. 24 Cypress Land Company McLaren Artura Trophy Evo (Pro) – Tanner Harvey / Patrick Liddy
Harvey and Liddy arrive at Indianapolis with the championship lead and momentum following their overall victory in the second race at Road America. After a difficult opening race removed them from podium contention, the pairing rebounded Sunday with Liddy keeping the No. 24 among the leaders during the opening stint before Harvey took over and made the pass for the overall lead late in the race. The victory was the pair’s third Pro win of the season and returned them to the top of the championship standings.
With three races remaining and only a small points advantage, however, both drivers know the championship remains wide open.
Tanner Harvey: “We’re heading into the final round leading the championship, and we’re determined to finish the job. With the Miami makeup race and the two season finale races, there are three big opportunities ahead, and every point matters. Patrick and the entire Forte Racing team have put so much into this season. We know nothing is decided yet, so we’ll stay focused, push for wins, and give everything we have to bring home the McLaren Trophy America championship.”
Liddy enters the finale sharing Harvey’s focus, while also reflecting on a season that has seen the No. 24 become a regular fixture on the podium.
Patrick Liddy: “What a great season it’s been in the Cypress 24 car. Tanner and I come into this weekend with a small points lead, but with three races at Indy, there’s still a lot on the line. It’s been special to be on the podium so frequently this year, and a big thanks goes to everyone at Cypress and Forte who helped put us in this position. We know what we need to do now, and we’re ready to fight for the championship.”
No. 8 Sigma Plastics McLaren Artura Trophy Evo (Pro) – Kaia Teo / Paul Holton
The No. 8 Sigma Plastics pairing enters Indianapolis as another threat in the Pro championship after a consistent Road America weekend that produced third-place class finishes in both races. Teo and Holton overcame changing conditions, a complicated pit sequence and different starting positions to put the No. 8 on the podium twice, keeping Teo firmly in championship contention heading into the finale.
For Teo, Indianapolis represents one final opportunity to build on a season that has included race wins, podiums and a sustained fight at the front of the Pro championship.
Kaia Teo: “Heading into the final round, I’m so excited for what’s ahead and even more grateful for everything we’ve been able to accomplish this season. We’ve had such an amazing year, but the work definitely isn’t done yet. The Pro Championship is still up for grabs, and with three races ahead of us at Indy, we’re ready to give it everything we have. I’m incredibly thankful to everyone at Forte Racing, McLaren, our partners, my family, Paul, and everyone who has supported us throughout this season. It’s taken so many people to get us to this point, and I’m really proud of what we’ve accomplished together. Now it’s time for one final push, and I can’t wait to see what we can do this week.”
Holton, who helped the No. 8 earn back-to-back podiums at Road America, is equally focused on maximizing all three opportunities during the compressed Indianapolis finale.
Paul Holton: “It’s been a really strong season for the No. 8, and now we have three races at Indy to finish it off the right way. Kaia has done a great job all year, and everyone at Forte Racing has worked incredibly hard to keep us competitive. With three races in three days, there’s not much time to reset, so we need to stay focused, execute and make the most of every opportunity. The championship is still there to fight for, and we’re going to give it a big push all the way to the end.”
No. 100 PiedParker McLaren Artura Trophy Evo (Am) – Cooper Broll
Broll heads to Indianapolis in control of the Am championship following another productive weekend at Road America. The No. 100 PiedParker driver won the Am class in challenging conditions in the opening race before adding a second-place finish Sunday, giving him additional breathing room in the championship entering the final three races.
Indianapolis is also familiar territory for Broll, who recently competed at the circuit in Lamborghini Super Trofeo and arrives confident in both the track and the No. 100 as he looks to secure the championship.
Cooper Broll: “Looking good going into the season finale! Indianapolis is a pretty special track to end a season at, so I am beyond excited to be heading there while leading the championship. Hoping to lock out the championship early in the three-race weekend and go for some more wins. I feel confident going in, this track has always been a strong one for me and I raced recently in Super Trofeo so I’m ready to go, go, go right out of the gate! Let’s get after it and get that championship!”
No. 53 Race for RP McLaren Artura Trophy Evo (Pro-Am) – Neil Langberg / Kevin Madsen / Jon Miller
For the No. 53 Race for RP team, the Indianapolis finale represents the conclusion of a season in which results on track have continued to provide a platform for a larger mission off it. Langberg, Madsen and Miller have used the McLaren Trophy America program throughout 2026 to raise awareness for relapsing polychondritis and support research into RP and other autoimmune diseases.
The No. 53 arrives at Indianapolis following podium results in both Road America races. Miller substituted for Langberg in Saturday’s rain-affected race and joined Madsen for a third-place overall finish and second in Pro, while Langberg returned Sunday and combined with Madsen for second in the Pro-Am Papaya Cup.
Neil Langberg: “Hi again, this is Neil/Nigel Langberg, co-driver of the No. 53 Relapsing Polychondritis, Forte Racing McLaren Artura Evo car. This weekend is the last in the MTA series for this season, and it’s at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with its unique road course inside the big oval.
“Further, we have three races to complete in three days, as there’s a make-up for the Miami rainout from April. There’s no time to waste. We need to jump, get up and not allow anything to get us down.
“Kevin, Jon and I have had a blast this year, driving awareness and accelerating research for autoimmune disease. Every time out on track has been a win-win for us and autoimmune patients across the country. We look forward to bringing home more recognition for this fight on and off the track this weekend and finishing strong for our new donors and research programs. Thanks to you all who have been along for the ride in 2026!”
Madsen shares Langberg’s determination to use the final weekend to deliver both results and greater visibility for the Race for RP mission.
Kevin Madsen: “With three races at Indy, including the Miami makeup race, we’ve got plenty of opportunities to put together some strong results. Every time we run well and get the Race for RP McLaren in front of people, it helps bring more attention to relapsing polychondritis and the work Race for RP is doing. We’ve got a big weekend ahead, and we’re ready to make the most of it both on and off the track!”
Miller, who has played an important role in the No. 53 program throughout the season, sees Indianapolis as another opportunity to continue the momentum the Race for RP initiative has built throughout 2026.
Jon Miller: “Closing out the 2026 season at Indy already?! This season flew by like it was on the push-to-pass the whole time! The Relapsing Polychondritis Foundation and Race for RP have been hard at work all year, raising awareness and funding for our mission to fuel hope and research for those suffering with RP and other Autoimmune diseases. We’ve had many successful initiatives this year. But like Sebastian Vettel says: ‘There is still a race to win’ both on and off the track. So we push onward. A huge thanks goes out to Neil Langberg, Kevin Madsen and the Forte Racing team for the success we’ve enjoyed on track and to the McLaren Trophy America team for the continued support and partnership. The work never stops and though 2026 is coming to a close we are already hard at work to keep pushing for what comes next. See you at the track!”
Forte Team Management
With championships still undecided and three races packed into three consecutive days, the Indianapolis finale presents a different challenge for the Forte Racing crew. Preparation, consistency and execution will be critical as the team manages four cars across multiple championship battles with little turnaround time between races.
Team Manager David Cozart believes the work completed leading into Indianapolis has positioned the team to make the most of the final three opportunities of the season.
David Cozart: “What a busy 2026 season it has been for the Forte Racing McLaren team. Fields have been strong and competitive, and I am looking forward to seeing where the dust settles. I am confident that we are going to field some seriously competitive cars for the makeup race and the two Indy races. We have put a lot of time and effort into getting ready for the finale. Now it is time for the drivers to perform, and with a bit of luck, we will find ourselves on the podium.”
For Team Principal Shane Seneviratne, the finale represents the culmination of a season that has seen Forte Racing compete for victories and championships across its entire four-car McLaren Trophy America program.
Shane Seneviratne: “This is what you work toward all season. We’re going into the final weekend leading championships in both Pro and Am, we have multiple drivers still in the fight, and we have three races to finish the job. I’m incredibly proud of what our drivers, engineers and crew have accomplished this year, but nobody is taking anything for granted. Three races in three days is going to demand a lot from everyone. Our focus is on executing, giving all four cars the best opportunity to compete and fighting all the way through the final lap on Friday. Hopefully, when it’s over, we’ll have a lot to celebrate.”
McLaren Trophy America will close its 2026 season with three races on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, beginning with the Miami make-up race Wednesday, October 7 at 5:10 p.m. ET, followed by the final two championship races Thursday, October 8 at 5:15 p.m. ET and Friday, October 9 at 1:40 p.m. ET.
All three races will be streamed live through McLaren Trophy America and SRO Motorsports America channels, giving fans the opportunity to follow the championship battles as they unfold at the Brickyard.
