Niece Motorsports Receives MarCom Awards Honors for Second Consecutive Year

SALISBURY, N.C. (October 14, 2026) – Niece Motorsports’ marketing team has earned one Platinum and four Gold honors in the 2026 MarCom Awards, with its Military Tribute at Naval Base Coronado receiving Platinum recognition.

The team also received four Gold awards recognizing its tribute to Greg Biffle, 10 Seasons celebration, Blues Hog partnership announcement, and Wreaths Across America initiative. The recognition builds on the three Gold awards Niece Motorsports earned in 2025, its first year entering the competition, and marks the organization’s first Platinum MarCom Award.

MarCom Awards recently announced the early deadline winners in the 2026 international creative competition for marketing and communication professionals. There are expected to be over 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and 41 other countries.

The recognition reinforces Niece Motorsports’ commitment to providing comprehensive marketing programs for its partners. From developing creative concepts and producing original content to coordinating media outreach and fan experiences, the team builds programs that connect partners with the NASCAR audience and create value beyond the race track.

“These programs mean a great deal to our team because they reflect the people, partners, and causes that are important to us,” said Amanda Efaw, Chief Marketing Officer of Niece Motorsports. “We’ve always believed a partnership with Niece Motorsports should be about more than decals on race trucks. We pride ourselves on offering turnkey marketing solutions that help our partners tell their stories and connect with fans in meaningful ways. Earning our first Platinum award and building on last year’s recognition speaks to the creativity and care our marketing team brings to that work.”

MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

Winners are selected from over 300 categories in Print, Web, Video, and Strategic Communications. MarCom is one of the oldest, largest, and most-respected creative competitions in the world. Winners range from huge international creative agencies and Fortune 500 companies to individual creative professionals. MarCom is sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), a 30-year-old international organization consisting of several thousand creative professionals.

Platinum Award — Military Tribute at Naval Base Coronado

Recognized in the Public Relations Program category, the military tribute connected founder and United States Marine Corps Veteran Al Niece’s return to Naval Base Coronado with a broader effort to honor service members across the Niece Motorsports community. Employees, ownership, affiliated companies, and partners were invited to submit names of military members meaningful to them, resulting in more than 160 names displayed on the bed tops of all three team trucks. Military-themed paint schemes, special crew firesuits, digital storytelling, and media outreach helped share the tribute with fans and a national NASCAR audience.

Gold Award: Tribute to Greg Biffle

The team’s tribute to Greg Biffle earned Gold in the Public Relations Program category. With many Niece Motorsports employees sharing personal and professional connections to Biffle, the program honored both his racing accomplishments and his commitment to helping others. All four team entries at Daytona carried a number font inspired by his iconic No. 16 along with “Be Like Biff” decals. The tribute extended beyond the track to support causes near and dear to Biffle’s heart, with the team hosting an American Red Cross blood drive at its Salisbury headquarters and donating race-used pit wall banners signed by Cleetus McFarland, Travis Pastrana, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. to Lake Norman Humane for fundraising.

Gold Award: Niece Motorsports 10 Seasons

Earning Gold in the Integrated Marketing category, the 10 Seasons celebration highlighted the people and milestones that shaped Niece Motorsports during its first decade of competition. The program brought together commemorative branding and merchandise, video interviews, and throwback paint schemes to share the organization’s growth with fans. Throughout the 2025 season, the campaign celebrated the employees, drivers, partners, and supporters who helped build the team.

Gold Award: Blues Hog Partnership Announcement

The launch of Blues Hog as the Official Grilling Partner of Niece Motorsports earned Gold in the Integrated Marketing category. Original content featuring Ross Chastain, Landen Lewis, and Cleetus McFarland introduced the partnership through the drivers’ personalities, supported by public relations, social media, on-track branding, and participation in the Blues Hog BBQ Showdown at Texas Motor Speedway. The announcement video generated more than 370,000 views on Instagram alone, helping establish an engaging introduction to the partnership.

Gold Award: Wreaths Across America

Recognized in the Corporate Social Responsibility category, the Wreaths Across America initiative grew from an employee volunteer experience into a season-long effort to honor veterans at Historic Salisbury National Cemetery. After seeing that not every gravesite received a wreath during the 2024 ceremony, the team established a fundraising program for 2025. Through employee involvement, branding on all three trucks, digital communications, and fan activities, Niece Motorsports surpassed its goal of sponsoring 100 additional wreaths. Employees returned to the cemetery in December 2025 to help place wreaths.

The five honors build on last year’s recognition and reflect Niece Motorsports’ continued growth in developing and executing marketing programs for its partners.
