Stremme to Honor Natalie Krohn in Talladega Race

Mooresville, N.C. (October 4, 2012) – NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver David Stremme will take to the track at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend in the Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500. In addition to having sponsorship from Swan Energy Inc., Stremme and the No. 30 team will be honoring Natalie Krohn, a young race fan from Minnesota whom recently lost her life.

The No. 30 Inception Motorsports Toyota will feature a tribute to Natalie on the hood of the car, and Stremme plans to run the entire race in her honor.

Stremme has raced at the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway numerous times, earning his best start of 17th in 2006 and his top finish of 8th in 2007.

“I am excited to get to run the full race at Talladega,” said Stremme. “I am honored to be able to use our car to remember Natalie, a very sweet girl that recently lost her life. I hope that we have a good day for her.”

The Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500 will air live on ESPN at 1 pm EDT on Sunday, October 7.

In Loving Memory of Natalie Anne Krohn Natalie Krohn was born on August 6, 2003 in Worthington, Minn. to Jason and Jennifer Krohn. She attended West Elementary in Slayton and was currently in the third grade. Natalie passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Murray County Medical Center in Slayton at the age of nine. She was a member of St. Ann’s church in Slayton, Minn. Natalie enjoyed tumbling and dance and was a member of The Dance Academy in Worthington. She loved spending time with her family, grandparents, her niece, Bella, and her dog, Fifi. Natalie enjoyed horseback riding, playing with her many dolls, and attending her dad’s races. While at the races, Natalie would often remind the drivers and crew members to say grace before dinner. She was a welcome visitor around the race tracks. Friends remember her as “having a heart as big as Texas and an even bigger smile.”
