FAS Lane Racing Heads to Talladega with Labonte and C&J Energy Services

MOORESVILLE, NC (October 5, 2012) – For the fourth time this season, FAS Lane Racing is proud to announce they are heading to Talladega Superspeedway this week with Terry Labonte. The two time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion will pilot the No. 32 Ford for the running of the Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500. FAS Lane Racing also welcomes back C & J Energy Services as the Primary Sponsor for the fourth time this season.

C&J Energy Services, a Corpus Christi, Texas founded company, will continue their support of their “Hometown Hero” Terry Labonte, born and raised in Corpus Christi, as he will pilot the No. 32 C&J Energy Services Ford. The trio of FAS Lane Racing, Terry Labonte and C&J Energy Services has enjoyed some moderate success at the three previous restrictor plate races this season.

“We really enjoy our association with C&J Energy Services and they have been a big part of what we have done the last two seasons,” stated team owner Frank Stoddard. “We have had some solid runs with Terry in these restrictor plate races other than getting caught up in a mess earlier this year at Talladega. We feel that we have a strong No. 32 C&J Energy Services here this weekend and with the experience of Terry we have our sights set on a top-5 finish on Sunday.”

The running of the Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500 at Talladega Superspeedway will run Sunday October 7th at 2:00 p.m. ET. The race can be viewed LIVE nationally on ESPN and heard on affiliated MRN radio stations and on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio 90.

About FAS Lane Racing: FAS Lane Racing was established in 2011 when Frank Stoddard’s old team, Latitude 43 Motorsports, closed its doors. Stoddard formed his own team with the remaining crew members and purchased the cars and equipment from Roush Racing. Stoddard chose the No. 32 in tribute to his racing mentor Stub Fadden, who was a Busch North Series racer from New England who used the number 16, hence 16 x 2 = 32. FAS Lane Racing used a variety of drivers to secure a position in the Top 35 in owner’s points thus ensuring them a guaranteed starting spot heading into the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.
