JAMIE MCMURRAY AND THE NO. 1 MCDONALD’S TEAM

Martinsville Recap: Crew chief Kevin “Bono” Manion had a brand new chassis built for Martinsville. Following a 24th-place qualifying effort, the team still felt that they would be very competitive in race conditions on Sunday from what they saw in the two final practice sessions Saturday afternoon. The new chassis would show strength from the drop of the green flag as McMurray was able move toward the front of the field, advancing as high as fifth-position before the halfway mark of the 500-lap race. After getting off pit sequence with the leaders in the middle stages of the race, the McDonald’s team would overcome a one-lap deficit and battle back to a 17th-place finish.

McMurray at Texas: McMurray has made 17 starts at Texas Motor Speedway. In those 17 starts, the driver of the No. 1 Chevrolet has accumulated three top-five, six top-10 finishes. McMurray has completed 5,468 out of a possible 5,688 laps (96%) with a total of 70 laps led. He has an average start and finish position of 24.9 and 17.8, respectively. His best start at the half-mile oval was fourth in 2008.

Pass and Go: During his last visit to Texas Motor Speedway in April, McMurray made 102 green flag passes.

Speedway Stats: At speedways (1-2 mile tracks) McMurray has 175 starts, collecting three poles, 20 top-five and 47 top-10 finishes. McMurray has led a total of 841 laps at speedways, including 70 laps led at Texas Motor Speedway.

No Limits: Jamie McMurray will stop by the No Limits Garage at 10:45am Sunday for a Q&A session, as the LiftMaster Garage at Texas Motor Speedway is transformed into a side-show the likes of which you may never have seen. The No Limits Garage Party is open to all 2012 Season and November Weekend 4-Pack customers will be filled with shows and attractions. See the odd, the weird and the simply unbelievable!

The Mac is back: The McDonald’s Arches will be back on the hood of the No. 1 Chevrolet at Texas Speedway. Be sure to make a pit stop at the local McDonald’s on your way to the races. McDonald’s is located at 110 North Highway 377 Roanoke, TX 76262.

JUAN PABLO MONTOYA AND NO. 42 HUGGIES® TEAM

Martinsville Recap: Team Target started 25th on the 0.526-mile oval and quickly picked-up positions, moving into the top-10 by lap 91. As the race progressed, temperatures started to drop and the No. 42 Chevrolet was loose as Montoya started to experience a lack of grip before the halfway point. The Target crew worked hard to utilize caution-flag pit stops for adjustments to improve the balance of the car. Team Target continued to battle and would make a strategy call with a late-race caution to improve position and ultimately cross the finish line with a top-20 finish.

HUGGIES® at Texas: HUGGIES® will make their first appearance on the No. 42 Chevrolet this weekend as they are displayed as the primary colors through their partnership with Target. HUGGIES® Snug & Dry Diapers offer long-lasting protection you can count on, so you can focus on all your little one’s daily adventures. Plus, they also come with the trusted leakage protection of the Leak Lock® System—which is now even more absorbent. Montoya at Texas: Montoya looks to make his 12th start this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. In his previous 11 starts he has led 12 laps and earned two top-10 finishes. Montoya has completed 3,479 out of a possible 3,679 (94%). His best start was third in 2007; and he earned his best finish of seventh in 2009. The driver of the No. 42 Chevrolet has an average starting position of 15.5 and an average finishing position of 22.5 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Pass ‘Em All: During the last race at Martinsville Speedway in April, Montoya completed 98 green flag passes.

Speedway Stats: In his NSCS career, Montoya has competed in 102 speedway races. In those events, he has accumulated two poles, nine top-five, 17 top-10 finishes, and has led 336 laps at track.
