Alex Bowman Quotes:
“I’m really excited to be racing at Kansas again, home of two of my six wins in the ARCA Racing Series. I’m curious to see how the track has changed since last year with the repave and how much grip it still has. Although these are my first laps here in a Nationwide Series car, I’ve got a fair amount of experience around Kansas Speedway. My experience, paired with how good our Toyota Camrys run on speedways like Kansas, should provide us with a good finish.”
Chris Rice Quotes:
“Kansas Speedway is definitely a track that we can continue to carry the momentum of the last month into. Recently we haven’t finished where we deserved, but this type of high speed track lends itself to the Toyota Camrys and the Joe Gibbs Racing Engines. With its recent repaving, this is only the second time the NASCAR Nationwide Series will see the track, but already the track has developed a second groove and we’ll probably see it develop a third groove by the time the race ends.”
