FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Mooresville, N.C. (October 3, 2013) – To honor Breast Cancer Awareness month, NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie Chad Hackenbracht and Ingersoll Rand are teaming up to “Give Cancer the Boot.” Along with a pink themed fire suit and helmet, a special pink and black paint scheme highlighting the National Breast Cancer Foundation, will be featured on the TriStar Motorsports No. 44 Toyota Camry during the Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 11.
“Aside from looking good, it’s a great cause that Ingersoll Rand and the National Breast Cancer Foundation have come together on,” said Hackenbracht. “Auctioning off my suit and helmet to help raise money is a great way to get the fans involved. This cause hits a little close to home as my cousin is a breast cancer survivor. I’m looking forward to helping Ingersoll Rand and the National Breast Cancer Foundation promote awareness to NASCAR fans,” he continued.
This will be the second time Hackenbracht and Ingersoll Rand have joined forces throughout the 2013 Nationwide Series season. Ingersoll Rand served as primary sponsor on the TriStar Motorsports No. 44 at Chicagoland Speedway last month where Hackenbracht earned a respectable 21st place finish.
The Ingersoll Rand “Give Cancer the Boot” promotion kicks off October 1 and will carry on throughout the month of October while supplies last. Donations up to $50,000 will be given to the National Breast Cancer Foundation by Ingersoll Rand. The foundation funds the Early Detection Plan, educational programs, online support communities, mammogram and diagnostic services, as well as breast cancer research.
