Friday, April 25 Ticket Holders Admitted to Autograph Session Prior to BLUE OX 100
Richmond, VA (April 15, 2014)—Meet the stars of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East on Friday, April 25 at Richmond International Raceway, before they race “under the lights” in the BLUE OX 100. All of the drivers will be available for a special autograph session, open to all April 25 ticketholders, at 4:00 pm in the Amphitheater.
The NASCAR K&N Pro Series features separate schedules and championships for the East and West, and makes up the top step of the NASCAR Home Tracks ladder—a launching pad for developmental drivers and home for veterans of motorsports. In addition to producing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Joey Logano, Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series has served as the starting point for some of the top up-and-coming talent now in NASCAR’s three national series, including Austin Dillon, Trevor Bayne and Ryan Truex.
This season marks the fourth year the series will race at Richmond International Raceway. Some notable names in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East this year are: defending BLUE OX 100 winner Ryan Gifford; Colonial Heights, Virginia native Gray Gaulding; and Midlothian, Virginia’s Sam Hunt. Friday’s ticket also includes Farm Bureau Insurance Pole Qualifying and practice for the Sprint Cup Series, as well as NBC12 Pole Qualifying for the Nationwide Series.
