MAX GRESHAM QUOTES:
What do you like about racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway?
“I’ve raced at Charlotte for the last 10 years, dating all the way back to the start of my career. I started racing Bandolero and Legend cars there on the small track and even though I’ve never won a race there, I’ve run well there a lot. It’s definitely a fun track that fits my driving style perfectly. You can charge the corners and that’s a good thing for how I drive a truck.”
How did the test go a couple weeks ago?
“The test went really well. I felt like we were one of the fastest trucks there and learned a lot which is a good thing, since we were trying a few things. We should have a solid starting package for when we unload on Thursday.”
How does it feel to get back behind the wheel for the first time this season?
“It’s definitely a relief to finally get back behind the wheel; it’s been far too long since I’ve been in a truck and actually raced. It’s going to be nice to be back in the driver’s seat and have a familiar face in Pickle (Ryan London) as my crew chief. We already connect and have a relationship which should help us at the track.”
