MAKE #50 DAYTONA RACE PREVIEW

Cody Ware enters his first NCWTS season

A New Season…The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) returns to the track this weekend in Daytona Beach, Florida for the NextEra Energy Resources 250. Cody Ware will make his 1st NCWTS start at the famed Daytona International Speedway.

This Week’s Silverado…The #50 Burnie and BUBBA Burger team will unload a chassis very familiar to Cody. This truck was last on the track last year at Talladega Super Speedway where Cody Ware drove it to a 27th place finish following a busted water line.

Burnie and Bubba… Burnie Grills is the new all wood, self-burning grill; will be the primary sponsor on the No. 50 Chevrolet Silverado this season. Since Burnie officially launched in January 2015, its sponsorship with MAKE Motorsports marks the first opportunity to strategically partner with a like-minded organization to reach camping enthusiasts. Burnie is the perfect partner with MAKE’s other sponsor, BUBBA Burger, a natural choice for quality and convenience, using only the highest quality ingredients to produce our uniquely shaped, gluten free BUBBA burgers. These two will be shown together as the perfect grilling and tailgating combo using the hastag #BurnieandBubba.

Extra Support…The #50 Chevrolet Silverado will sport Lilly Trucking of Virginia on the hood, rear deck lid as well as the lower doors. Lilly Trucking of Virginia, Inc. specializes in reliable transportation of fine machinery and machinery parts for the Paper Industry

Joining In… MAKE Motorsports will add a new associate sponsor for Daytona. Elite Holdings is back with the team from 2014 along with WIX Filters. New for 2015 associates is AKL Insurance.

Watch and Listen…The NextEra Energy Resources 250 can be seen live on Friday, February 20th on FOX Sports 1. Race coverage will begin at 7 p.m. EDT, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.

Previous Season Recap…The #50 team rounded out the year with several laps led, a top 15 finish at Dover, 22nd in Driver’s points, 23rd in Owner’s Points. The 2014 season was the first full season that the MAKE team was able to race through and complete.

Cody Ware on Racing at Daytona International Speedway:

“I am very excited to be making my debut at Daytona international speedway this weekend. Running at Daytona for the first time has a very unique set of challenges, thankfully making a start at Talladega last year will make the learning curve a little less difficult. I am very excited to get this season started of with a bang with the MAKE Motorsports team; this is a great group and I see a bright future with them. This race has a lot of meaning to me as this race signifies the start of my first full season in NASCAR and all the great things that are going to come.”
