RHODES FINISHES 22nd AT MIS

BROOKLYN, Mich. – Rookie Harrison Rhodes tied his best finish of the Xfinity Series season Saturday with a 22nd-place run in the Great Clips 250 at Michigan International Speedway.

Rhodes also finished 22nd earlier in the year at Richmond International Raceway.

Rhodes qualified 22nd and raced as high as 19th before coming home 22nd. He was a lap down to the leaders.

“We had a pretty strong car today,” Rhodes said. “We stayed out of trouble and got a decent finish out of the day. Was hoping to get a top-20 today, but we’ll shoot for that next time.”

Kyle Busch won the race, and Chris Buescher finished fourth to increase his point lead.

The series moves on to Chicagoland Speedway for a June 20 event.
