Charlotte Motor Speedway is set to host its two biggest races of the year… and they’re going to do it with “Flair!” Eight-time WWEWomen’s Champion Charlotte Flair – a native of Charlotte, North Carolina – will assume honorary pace car driver duties for the Coca-Cola 600 on May 26.

Jimmie Johnson, driver of the No. 48 Ally Camaro ZL1, holds the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series record with 11 wins – all in a Chevrolet -- at Dover International Speedway, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Warner Music Nashville recording artist Michael Ray, who was born in nearby Eustis, is coming home to Daytona International Speedway for the Independence Day holiday weekend to entertain NASCAR fans with a pre-race concert on Saturday, July 6 prior to the 61st annual Coke Zero Sugar 400, a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event.

Chase Elliott on winning at Talladega: “To have a win this early in the year I think is nice. And just because we won at Dover and Kansas last year doesn't mean we're going to go run well there, too. You know that. It's going to be hit‑or‑miss. We're going to go there, see what we have. We didn't run well at Richmond, which was unfortunate. Had a good day at Talladega, need to ride that as best we can in Dover.”

Ross Chastain on Racing at Dover: “It feels like forever since I’ve been in one of these trucks, and I’m ready to go.  Dover is definitely a challenging track, but it’s one that I’ve always enjoyed.  This Niece Motorsports team has been working hard all season long, so I know we’ll have another strong truck for Friday’s race.”

Four times in his Hall of Fame career, Bobby Allison took the checkered flag at Talladega Superspeedway and made his way to Gatorade Victory Lane, the last being the spring race of 1986. Earlier this week, to kick off Phase II of Transformation – The Talladega Superspeedway Infield Project presented by Graybar, the leader of the famed “Alabama Gang” came back to the track’s current winner’s circle – the one he christened with that ‘86 victory - to tear it down.

Kyle Busch is not only pacing the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in victories (three) this season, but his 10-consecutive top-10 finishes through the opening 10 races has only been accomplished by four other drivers – Lee Petty (1955), James Hylton (1972), Cale Yarborough (1974), Morgan Shepherd (1990) – and hasn’t been done in 29 years. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver, who celebrates his 34th birthday on Thursday, has 12 consecutive top-10 finishes going back to the end of the 2018 season.

Another Top Ten… With a 10th place result in Talladega, Kyle Busch scored his 10th consecutive Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) top-10 finish to start the season. This season, Busch has scored three MENCS wins and six top-fives. His average finish is 4.5, and he continues to the lead the point standings.

Richard Childress Racing at Dover International Speedway ... RCR has earned four Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series wins at Dover International Speedway, the last win was in September 2006 when Jeff Burton drove the No. 31 Chevrolet to Victory Lane.

After two short track races, with a mile-and-a-half race at Texas Motor Speedway sandwiched in between, followed by a run on the superspeedway at Talladega, Paul Menard and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane team get to try something altogether different this weekend.
