AJ Allmendinger powered his No. 47 Scott Products Chevrolet SS to victory at the Cheez-It 355 at the Glen, scoring his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win.
Matt Kenseth was the top-finishing Toyota driver with a ninth-place result in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Watkins Glen International. AJ Allmendinger won the race after three red flag delays due to on-track incidents.
Crew chief Todd Berrier and Martin Truex Jr. put their heads together and made a decision with 32 laps remaining in the Cheez-It 355 at The Glen, and they played it out to perfection over the remaining distance on the 2.45-mile road course.
