In his first on-camera interview since the controversial ending to the March 24 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Fontana, Calif., driver Joey Logano appeared on the 6 p.m. ET edition of ESPN SportsCenter in an exclusive interview with ESPN lead NASCAR reporter Marty Smith. Denny Hamlin charged from 18th to second after the final restart with 11 laps remaining in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway and battled for the lead coming to the checkered flag, but contact sent the #11 FedEx Express Toyota spinning into the infield and hard into the inside retaining wall, relegating the team to a 25th-place finish in the event won by Kyle Busch.
Jeb Burton will make his second start for Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) this Saturday afternoon at Martinsville Speedway in his home state of Virginia. The 20-year-old driver of the No. 4 Arrowhead machine will be returning to the track where he made his first ever NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start. One year ago, Burton started seventh and finished 13th at the famous half-mile short track. Coming off an impressive fifth-place finish in the 2013 NCWTS season opener at Daytona International Speedway, Burton has momentum on his side.
In an overtime restart, 23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick made a last-lap pass to capture the eventual race win, his fifth victory of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.
