Chris Buescher will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Kentucky Speedway this Saturday. In his previous start at the track, coming earlier this season, Buescher started and finished 18th.

Ryan Reed will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start this weekend at Kentucky Speedway. In his first start, coming earlier this season, Reed started 15th and finished 17th.

Cole Whitt led his BK Racing teammates to the checkered flag as he brought home a 30th-place finish in the No. 26 Iowa City Capital Partners Toyota Camry at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill., on Sunday afternoon. Whitt was followed by Alex Bowman in the No. 23 Dr Pepper Toyota Camry who finished 35th, and Ryan Truex who finished 42nd in the No. 83 Burger King / Dr Pepper Toyota Camry.

Richard Childress Racing teammates Ryan Newman, Austin Dillon and Paul Menard finished 15th, 16th and 21st, respectively.

Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Mustang, improved 12 positions in the final 40 laps of Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) event at Chicagoland Speedway to score his fifth top-five finish of the 2014 season, crossing the finish line for the final time in the fifth position.

After overcoming many hurdles during Sunday’s MyAFibStory.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. led the Roush Fenway Racing efforts with his 17th-place finish after a competitor made contact with his Ford with ten laps remaining.

Greg Biffle had his hands full to kick off the Chase in Chicago with a No. 16 3M ScotchBlue Ford that lacked grip. Biffle started 20th after rain washed out qualifying and NASCAR set the field on practice times. Throughout the race Biffle battled handling and long green flag runs cost him laps on the track, resulting in a 23rd-place finish.

Mike Bliss and the No. 19 Tweaker Energy Shot Camry qualified 23rd forSaturday afternoon's race. Early into the race, Bliss reported that his Camry was loose, so when the competition caution came out at lap 25 the team made an air pressure adjustment and a track bar adjustment. By lap 57, Bliss was scored in 19th and continuing to gain track position. Around lap 90, Bliss came on the radio to report that his Camry was still loose. With 74 laps to go, Bliss was scored in the 20thposition and reported his car was "a little tight in."

Fresh off his first win of the season at Clay County Fair Speedway on September 12, Kraig Kinser returns to his home state of Indiana this week for a busy stretch of four races that will see the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series race twice on Hoosier soil, along with stops in Ohio and Pennsylvania. For Kinser, the victory came after several strong runs had been thwarted by bad luck over the last few weeks.
