Roush Fenway Racing will be represented by Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards in the 2014 ‘Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup’, marking the 11th time in 11 seasons of the Chase the organization has fielded multiple entries in the NASCAR Sprint Cup ‘playoff’ field.

In his fourth-career NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Richmond International Raceway, Kyle Larson was fast early in the weekend and qualified within the top five, but couldn't find the speed he needed to battle for the lead throughout the 250-lap race, ultimately finishing in 13th position.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) made its second and final stop of the 2014 season at Richmond International Raceway for the Virginia529 College Savings 250. Dylan Kwasniewski and his No. 31 Rockstar Energy Drink team were looking for redemption and a solid finish in the young rookie's second NNS start at the 0.75-mile short track. After running top-10 speeds in both practices, Kwasniewski qualified 10th in NASCAR's rain-shortened knockout qualifying session. After fighting a loose racecar and working his way back onto the lead lap during the first portion of the race, Kwasniewski crossed the finish line in the 11th position.

James Buescher and the No. 99 Ruud team came into Richmond International Raceway with high hopes after placing inside the top-10 during the first event at the 3/4-mile D-shaped oval earlier this season. The 24-year-old Plano, Tx. native started mid-pack in the 40-car field for Friday night's Virginia 529 College Savings 250.

Jeff Gordon put Chevrolet on the front row for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regular season finale at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) in his No. 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevy SS. The current point leader’s second-place qualifying effort was his fifth front-row start in the last seven races.

We were 14th in practice so I didn’t think we would be that good but we were able to get our car out there in time and lay down a good lap the first session. I over drove it the second session. I was expecting more grip with the shade and I over drove it. That is my bad. I probably lost a half a tenth there and that would have put us third. I think the fact that Brad went out a little sooner with the clean track and we waited too long and the sun poked out cost us a little bit there too. If we keep stacking these pennies up we will figure out how to get the pole. That is okay though, we will race from there.”
