Truex Jr. Looking to Rein in The Monster With Another Fast Hot Rod

After two consecutive point races of having the dominant car, Martin Truex Jr. returns to his home track this weekend – Dover International Speedway, site of his first career Sprint Cup Series win (June 4, 2007).

1. Kevin Harvick: Harvick finished ninth at Charlotte, recording his 11th top-10 finish of the year. He leads the points standings, ahead of Martin Truex Jr. by 41.

Chevy NSCS at Dover One: Team Chevy Advance

Chevrolet drivers and teams have been the best at surviving 400 laps on the concrete oval. Bowtie-branded drivers have hoisted the ‘Miles the Monster’ trophy the past four consecutive races. Chevy’s Jimmie Johnson has practically owned Dover International Speedway during the last decade with nine victories to his credit; he leads all NSCS drivers as the most successful at the track.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher will make his third NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Dover International Speedway on Saturday. In his previous two starts, both coming last season, Buescher started inside the top-10, and earned finishes of 11th and fourth, respectively.

Elliott Sadler makes his 15th NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) start at Dover International Speedway this weekend in Dover, DE. In Sadler’s previous 14 starts, he has one pole award, three top-five and eight top-10 finishes at Dover.

Bubba Wallace – Dover Advance

This Saturday, Bubba Wallace will make is second NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Dover International Speedway. His previous start came in the fall of 2012, where Wallace earned the pole in just his fourth start in the series, ultimately finishing 12th. In that start, Wallace ran the entire race inside the top-15.

Greg Biffle – Dover Advance

In his 25 career Cup Series starts at the 1.0-mile track, Biffle has two wins, six top-five and 11 top-10 finishes. His average starting position is 12.9 with an average finishing position of 13.7.
