No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine driver Brett Moffitt gets a rare opportunity to race on a familiar track this weekend when the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series visits the high-banked, half-mile Bristol Motor Speedway.

"I always look forward to Bristol. It's like a home track, like how we grew up racing. It's a short track, high-banked, lot of speed, lot of momentum. People have mixed feelings on it, but I like that it has a wider groove on it and you're able to move around and make things work.

Martin Truex Jr. enters this weekend’s Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol(Tenn.) Motor Speedway third in driver points as a result of scoring seven-straight top 10s to open the 2015 campaign.

Heading into Sunday's Food City 500, Bliss will be making his 7th career NSCS start at "The Last Great Coliseum." The Oregon native has a best NSCS finish of 7th in Thunder Valley, which came back in 2005 driving for Gene Haas. This weekends event will be another double duty weekend for Bliss, as he will run for Mark Smith and Tri-Star Motorsports in the Xfinity Series on Saturday.

Bobby Isaac possessed the one attribute that all NASCAR drivers crave. He was quite simply; fast. In 1969 he captured the record for most poles in a single season with 19. That record still stands today. In fact, only 38 drivers have achieved 19 or more poles throughout their entire career.

“I just love short-track racing. If you look over the statistics of my career, I’ve performed best at the short tracks. Bristol is also one of those racetracks I loved to go to as a kid. There were places on the circuit you looked forward to, but Bristol was always on top of the list. There is just no other track like it.”

“Bristol is my favorite short-track. We had a lot of success there last year earning two top-10 finishes. We feel after our Texas finish and earning three top-15 finishes in four races that we have momentum heading into Bristol.

“Bristol has been a great track for our FedEx team over the years. We might not have all the finishes to match how we have run there, but outside of a couple races, we’ve shown speed, led laps and been up front a lot.

In 149 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Bristol Motor Speedway, Richard Childress Racing boasts nine wins - seven with Dale Earnhardt, one with Kevin Harvick and one with Jeff Burton - three pole awards, 32 top-five and 62 top-10 finishes.
