The Charlotte Motor Speedway Media Tour presented by Technocom, NASCAR’s annual season kick-off press conference, continued with Day 2 on Tuesday at Charlotte Convention Center in Downtown Charlotte, North Carolina.

"This off-season has been a little bit strange without the on-track NASCAR-type testing that we're all accustomed to whether it's Charlotte or going to Vegas or doing a west coast swing-type thing or even going to Daytona for preseason testing. Not being able to be in a car at all is different and the first time we get back in it will be practice for the Shootout here in a few weeks."

HScott Motorsports enters the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) season with a new look as it expands to two cars. Justin Allgaier will return to the No. 51 BRANDT Chevrolet while Michael Annett joins the team and will drive a Chevrolet adorned by longtime anchor partner Pilot Flying J.

Michael Waltrip Racing announced today Brett Moffitt will drive the No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine Toyota in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 1.

The 2015 season will be Furniture Row Racing’s 10th anniversary in NASCAR. The single-car team based in the Mile High City of Denver began its NASCAR career in the Xfinity Series (formerly known as the Nationwide Series) with driver Jerry Robertson qualifying on March 26, 2005 at Nashville Superspeedway.

The 33rd annual Charlotte Motor Speedway Media Tour presented by Technocom dropped the green flag on Monday afternoon with NASCAR officials taking the stage to make a series of announcements. NASCAR CEO and Chairman Brian France Jr. announced during his “State of the Sport” address that he was thrilled to build off the excitement and intensity of last year’s Chase for the Sprint Cup championship.

Jeff Gordon appears to be one who is prepared to take his final bow while he is not just a legend in his sport, but also a contender. At the age of 43, Gordon has four championships to his credit, 92 victories and an amazing 320 Top Fives in 761 starts.

The Charlotte Motor Speedway Media Tour's second stop was Joe Gibbs Racing. There are lots of changes at JGR, most notably the addition of Carl Edwards in the No. 19 Toyota, but it was Denny Hamlin who spoke first.

The 2015 Charlotte Motor Speedway Sprint Cup Media Tour kicked off today with Brian France’s State of the Sport report. France outlined topics that NASCAR is working on as well as answered questions from the assembled media. A rosy picture was painted as the sanctioning body had one of its best seasons in recent memory.
