Kyle Larson, driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, on the dry conditions expected this weekend at COTA: “It will be like a new track for us. Last year, I felt like it was dry for only a couple laps during the entire weekend. We’re definitely looking forward to it because the Hendrick Motorsports road course program has been strong.”

NASCAR travels to Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas this week for the first of six scheduled Cup Series and Xfinity Series road course races.

William Byron led a race-high 111 laps and sailed to the win at Atlanta, giving Hendrick Motorsports its third win this year.

The 24-year-old Byron from Charlotte, North Carolina, led a race-high 111 of 325-scheduled laps en route to his first Cup Series victory of 2022.
