For the seventh straight race in a row, NASCAR has their seventh different race winner as Joey Logano won the Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. It marks Logano's fourth career victory in his second season at Team Penske.

Penske Racing's Joey Logano became the seventh different winner in as many NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races this season after surviving a green/white-checkered finish in Monday's rain-delayed NASCAR Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

“I felt very confident about this race. For some reason I told Todd Gordon I said, ‘we’re gonna win this week,’ and I was mad when we didn’t get the pole, but I felt like we had a car that could win this thing today.

Chevrolet swept both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and NASCAR Nationwide Series poles this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) and also earned the victory in the Nationwide Series race; but fell just shy of making it a weekend sweep.

Kyle Busch was the first Camry driver to the finish line in Monday’s running of the rain-delayed NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Texas Motor Speedway.

Joey Logano’s win is his second with Ford Racing and fourth of his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series career. He extends the season-opening streak of different winners to seven and joins fellow Ford drivers Brad Keselowski and Carl Edwards in that group.

Due to persistent rain showers throughout the day, NASCAR officials were forced to postpone the Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway to Monday April 7th at noon EST.
