After dominating at Phoenix International Speedway, Kevin Harvick kept the momentum going as he topped the speed charts in Thursday's test session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

KEVIN HARVICK, NO. 4 JIMMY JOHN’S CHEVROLET SS, met with members of the media today at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and discussed the four hour test session, the momentum the No. 4 Chevrolet SS team brings into Las Vegas after the win last week at Phoenix International Raceway and other topics.

Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M/Red Cross Ford Fusion, visited the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Infield Media Center after taking part in a test session this afternoon with all of the other NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams. Below is a transcript of that session.

At the end of the Sprint Cup Series test session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Biffle walked into the media center for his availability and made it clear that he didn't want to talk about the day.

“I’m willing to talk about anything but today’s test, so any questions that you guys have I’d be more than happy to answer, but it was a pretty tough day for us.”

As justly proud I am of my ancestors, there is a downside to not being born a France. I could have a dream, wake in the morning and jot it all down on a napkin, and there is no chance in hell that it could be NASCAR policy by the afternoon.

SP+ Gameday, in conjunction with Kurt Busch, driver of #41 SS Chevrolet for Stewart-Haas Racing, will recognize fallen U.S. Army Sgt. Clinton K. Ruiz by displaying his name on the #41 car during a NASCAR Sprint Cup series race.

“Your confidence brings a positive attitude with it. We’ve been building that confidence obviously for several years resulting in a really solid season last year, especially throughout the Chase. Starting off this year with a win and a second place finish just continues to make us feel like what we’re doing is working and what we’re doing is heading in the right direction.

"I am excited to be heading out to Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. We will have a full day of testing at the track on Thursday, which will definitely help out everyone on this No. 36 team. We are still learning and growing together as a new team.
