NASCAR Cup Series

Dover International Speedway and Pocono Raceway take their yearly rivalry on to the field for the for the Third Annual Celebrity Softball Game, featuring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Kasey Kahne and Jamie McMurray. The game will be played on Wednesday, April 30 at the home of the York Revolution in York, Pa.

The 2014 honorees include: Richard Petty, charter member of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Horace Holden, Aurelia Kennedy and Payson Kennedy, founders of the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and Ron Kimble, Charlotte Deputy City Manager.

The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America announced today the course for its 20thAnniversary Ride. From Saturday, May 3 through Saturday, May 10, 2014, more than 175 riders will embark on the cross-country motorcycle trek, which begins in Carlsbad, Calif. and travel more than 2,800 miles before reaching Daytona Beach, Fla.

Brian Scott started 32nd in The Profit on CNBC 500 presented by Small Business Fueling America. In only his third NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start, Scott finished 32nd.

Richard Childress Racing teammates Ryan Newman finished seventh, Paul Menard 23rd and Austin Dillon was 24th.

After Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s big win last weekend in the Daytona 500, the big question was whether he could keep the momentum rolling and do well in The Profit on CNBC 500 this weekend. The critics have been answered as Earnhardt came home with a solid second place finish.

Kevin Harvick, though, known as, "The Closer," for the past couple of seasons, Harvick did it all on Sunday, leading 224 of the 312 laps, as he went on to easily cruise to victory at The Profit for CNBC 500, Presented by Small Business Fueling America.

Kevin Harvick in the No. 4 Jimmy John’s Chevrolet SS turned in a dominating performance today leading 224 of the 312 laps to win The Profit on CNBC 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR). Harvick’s victory is the 24th of his career and marks him in the record book as PIR’s all-time leader in Sprint Cup victories with five.

Martin Truex Jr. grinded his way to a 22nd-place finish in Sunday’s The Profit on CNBC 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.

Kyle Busch (ninth) was the highest-finishing Toyota in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Phoenix International Raceway that was won by Kevin Harvick.
