Denny Hamlin captured his second Sprint Unlimited victory and was followed to the line by Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick.

After starting on pole, Denny Hamlin would lead the most laps and worked his way to the front at the end of the Sprint Unlimited to pick up the win. It marks the second time that Hamlin has won the event as he won it in his rookie year in 2006.

Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) will kick off the 2014 NASCAR season in tonight’s ‘Sprint Unlimited’ all-star event at Daytona International Speedway. RFR will field two cars in the event; Carl Edwards in the No. 99 Fastenal Ford and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in the No. 17 Nationwide Insurance Ford.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Carl Edwards made his case that drivers are athletes when he visited Bristol earlier this week for some final off-season conditioning. Edwards participated in a ‘mock’ NFL combine at Velocity Sports Performance, where he was worked out by former University of Tennessee and national championship head football coach Phillip Fulmer and current East Tennessee State head coach Carl Torbush.

If you win Daytona, with the new rules, you are automatically in The Chase and that sets the tone for the year. If we would be lucky enough to win the Daytona 500, it would be a dream come true.
