Joey Logano, drive of the No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion, finds himself in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship for the first time in his career. Logano, was one of three Ford drivers who are in the Chase that participated in the NASCAR Chase media day at Chicago’s Navy Pier and discussed his mindset heading into Chicago and the controversy that is swirling around the 22 team.

Richard Childress Racing and Furniture Row Racing have agreed to continue their successful technical alliance in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition.

Edwards at Chicago enters Chicago fifth in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase point standings. In 26 starts, Edwards has accumulated two wins, eight top-five,13 top-10 finishes and one pole. Edwards will make his ninth Cup start at Chicagoland Speedway this weekend. In his previous starts, Edwards has three top-five and three top-10 finishes. His average start is 14.6 and his average finish is 16.6.

Kasey Kahne roared into downtown Roanoke Wednesday morning to a cheering crowd of fans who had packed the Historic Roanoke City Market for a glimpse of the NASCAR Sprint Cup star.
