Front Row Motorsports (FRM) has competed in 511 NASCAR sanctioned events over the last eight years and on Sunday night with the sun setting in the background; they did what many found inconceivable winning a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race in an FRM 1-2 finish! It's an amazing example of David versus Goliath (In this case, two David's) and NASCAR hasn't seen an upset like this in quite some time. We all know what happened late Sunday night at Talladega Superspeedway but do you know the rest of the story? Talladega didn’t disappoint though it looked like it would be the same old thing early. Matt Kenseth took off and led 142 of the extended 192 laps and there was Jimmie Johnson closely behind, but as things usually go in restrictor plate racing, the unexpected happened.

Front Row Motorsports earned its first NASCAR victory Sunday night at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway when David Gilliland pushed teammate David Ragan to the checkers in a dramatic last-lap surge to cap off a wild and rain-interrupted race. Ragan earned Bob Jenkins' young team its first Sprint Cup Series win and Gilliland finished second for the best - and most dramatic - finish in team history.

Landon Cassill and the No. 4 Flex Seal team recorded a top-20 finish this weekend at the 2.66 mile Talladega Superspeedway. The team ran up front all day, but was collected in a last lap crash resulting in a 17th place finish. The finish catapulted the No. 4 car to 32nd in the Owner’s Points battle.

NASCAR’s new Gen-6 Car has drawn rave reviews from drivers and fans alike after the first 10 races in 2013. On May 14-15, the car will make its debut at Michigan International Speedway when two teams conduct a test. And fans are invited to watch free of charge.
