NASCAR Cup Series

NASCAR is a melting pot. Most drivers and team members come from all over the country to reside in North Carolina for their jobs and some come from around the globe.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) will head to Kentucky Speedway for the series’ second start at the 1.5-mile racetrack. David Reutimann will return to the Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) No. 10 Chevrolet this weekend. Dave Blaney will pilot the No. 36 SealWrap Repair Tape Chevrolet in the 267-lap race.

Fireworks By Santore is adding a new twist to the largest fireworks show in the Southeast, which takes place immediately following the conclusion of the 54th annual Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Saturday night, July 7.

A competitive chase is all any fan wants for the last ten races of the Sprint Cup Series season. As we stand right now, the chase races could use a little adjustment.

This week will be the second visit to Kentucky Speedway. Its inaugural NASCAR Sprint Cup race last season that was marred by race fans that never even made it to the track due to blocked highways and limited parking areas.
