Camry driver Denny Hamlin (second) was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

GREG BIFFLE – No. 16 Fastenal Ford Fusion – “The same thing happened to us in the All-Star Race. It seemed like when the speeds picked up and it was cool out, our car just started sliding the tires a little bit. We were super-good early."

NASCAR’s longest race seemed even longer than usual for Trevor Bayne and the crew of his No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane DAV Ford Fusion, as they spent the majority of the night hoping for much needed cautions, ones that proved to be few and far between.

It’s one of those deals where you’re coming in and going out, it’s like being in a Wal-Mart parking lot and you’re both going for the same parking spot and sometimes things happen."

KASEY KAHNE (No. 5 Quaker State Chevrolet) – “It felt really good to put the entire race together and have speed all night long. The Quaker State Chevrolet was really fast, the adjustments were great. It feels good to get a win for Hendrick Motorsports."

As NASCAR's spring visit to Charlotte comes to an end, I felt it only fitting to share observations of the time. - Hats off to track owner Bruton Smith, track President Marcus Smith and their amazing army of employees.

Charlotte Motor Speedway has always been known for doing things bigger and better. First it was the longest race of the year, then the biggest pre-race show, then largest HDTV screen, and today CMS will also boast the largest free-flying American flag in the world when it is unveiled during the national anthem for Coca-Cola 600.
