Proving once again Michigan International Speedway and NASCAR are the leaders in recognizing its fans, speedway officials have announced a new element to the track’s popular and ever-growing Fan Appreciation Program.

In a continuing effort to provide race fans with an unrivaled experience and honor all of the nation’s heroes, the Crown Royal® brand today announced it will become entitlement sponsor of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

“The Road To Richmond” roars back to action this weekend at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns from an off week to make its annual stop at the Brickyard.

Race fans visiting Indianapolis Motor Speedway this Friday for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Brickyard 400 will have the opportunity to experience the Team Chevy Racing Display and participate in autograph and question-and-answer sessions with the sport’s biggest stars, check out show cars and test drive 2011 Chevrolet vehicles.

The Atlanta Motor Speedway Ticket Office will open on weekends beginning on July 30 to accommodate increased demand surrounding the track’s three-day, Sept. 2-4 Labor Day NASCAR Sprint Cup Series AdvoCare 500 night racing weekend.

This year’s Brickyard 400 is especially significant as it’s being run in the year that Indianapolis Motor Speedway celebrated the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
