With all the adversity that faced them throughout the weekend, Martin Truex Jr. and the Furniture Row Racing team dug deep to post a fifth-place finish in Sunday’s rain-delayed NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Paul Menard and the No. 21 Moen Ford Fusion team had a solid run on Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway in their first race together on a track where handling is a key component of success.

Kevin Harvick held three fingers out his window on his way to Victory Lane after Sunday's Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The salute to Dale Earnhardt Sr. replicated the one he made 17 years ago after his first win as a NASCAR Cup Series driver.

Austin Dillon and the Dow Racing Team Earn Top-15 Finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway "We didn't have the best car today, but we did a good job on execution. We played around with pit strategy and then took the wave-around for the final restart. Unfortunately, we didn't get the caution we were hoping for so that we could finish the race on fresh tires. All night, the Dow Racing pit crew had fast stops. They did a great job and I'm proud of them. We plan to give it our all at Last Vegas Motor Speedway next weekend."

VICTORY LANE INTERVIEW – YOU DID THE 3 SALUTE. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU? “I’m just so proud of everybody on our team. That was the first win in my career and to be able to do that and pay tribute to Dale was pretty cool. I’ve been waiting a long time to do that. We’ve had so many days where we could do that here, but I just want to thank everybody from Stewart-Haas Racing, Jimmy John’s, Busch, Ford, Mobil 1, Outback, Hunt Brothers, Morton Buildings, Textron Off Road, Liftmaster, everybody who puts this car on the race track and for five years it’s been so fast at this particular race track and a lot of other ones. I love racing here and it’s good to be back in Victory Lane finally. It took a while.”

KYLE LARSON, NO. 42 FIRST DATA CAMARO ZL1 – Finished 9th “A decent day for us and the First Data Camaro ZL1. It was a good points day and we hopefully can learn from this for upcoming races. We had a good stop the last time down pit road, but our car was just too tight on the last run to pick up spots. Racing into the night was obviously not really in the plan yesterday, but our guys did a good job keeping up with the track.”

NASCAR and Atlanta Motor Speedway track officials made the decision Saturday morning to move up the start time for Sunday’s Monster Energy Cup Series race due to impending inclement weather. The Accu-Weather forecast shows an 80 percent chance of rain during the day and a 67 percent chance of rain Sunday night.

Kyle Busch will have a front row seat when the field takes the green flag for Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race after qualifying with the fastest speed of 184.652 mph at Atlanta Motor Speedway.  Driving the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, Busch nabbed the top spot from Ryan Newman (184.419 mph) and clinched his first career pole at the iconic 1.5-mile oval.

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 Snickers Almond Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - Starting Position: 1st - How did you feel your car handled today and what part of the racetrack was key to get the pole? “We seemed to be getting beat on every single run through (turns) 1 and 2. But there, during that final run, I felt we got through 1 and 2 better and I was just like don’t screw up 3 and 4."
