Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing team scored their 14th top-10 finish of the season this afternoon at Texas Motor Speedway, finishing sixth with a last-lap pass of Joey Logano to claim the position.

FORT WORTH, Tx.(Nov. 6, 2017) – After running in the top-15 for a majority of the day, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. drove his Fastenal Ford to a 12th-place finish in Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) race at Texas Motor Speedway.

We have been qualifying well here and racing well ever since I have been at Stewart-Haas Racing and just never got it to work out to go to victory lane. Today we had to earn it. To be able to pass the 78 car for the win is something that is huge for our confidence and team knowing we need to go to another 1.5 mile at Homestead to race for the championship. I am really proud of everyone on our Mobil 1 FOrd. This thing was a hot rod today.

Camry driver Martin Truex Jr. clinched a spot in the Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday afternoon at Texas Motor Speedway with a second-place finish in the Cup Series race.

"We were able to grab a couple of Stage points at the end of Stage 1 and Stage 2 today, which I am really proud of. My crew chief, Justin Alexander, and the entire Dow Winter in PyeongChang team did a great job of keeping up with adjustments throughout the race.

Team Penske announced today that Auto Club of Southern California and AAA will continue its partnership with the team as sponsor of the No. 22 Ford Fusion driven by Joey Logano in the NASCAR Cup Series. The multi-year extension with Team Penske follows an announcement earlier this year that Logano will remain a driver for the team through the 2022 season and beyond.

I hadn’t been more nervous for one than this one just because I feel like it will be a crucial track position game to dictate your strategy and get the stage points that you need that you need to be up front. They did a good job. I didn’t know if we were going to make it with all the inspection stuff going on. We came out at the last minue. Kurt did a great job getting the pole. We needed him to get the pole, not the 11.”

Then to go out and qualify in the top ten like that is a great sign. We brought a few different things to the track this weekend and it just seems like there is just some more raw speed in the car. I am excited about it and again, we just had a couple of laps of practice and then qualified in the top ten, so I am pretty happy about that.”
