Toyota NASCAR Pocono – Iowa Advance

Past Pocono Performances: Pocono Raceway has been the site of four Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) victories by Camry drivers. Toyota driver Denny Hamlin leads all active drivers with four-career victories at the 2.5-mile triangular track, including Camry wins in Aug. 2009 and June 2010 after also sweeping the events in his rookie season (2006). He’s tied for most pole positions (three), has the second most laps led (670 laps) and 14 top-10 results in 23 starts at the track. Matt Kenseth drove his No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Camry to Pocono’s victory lane in Aug. 2015, while former Toyota driver Joey Logano won the June 2012 race.

Wood Brothers Racing and Paul Menard Team Up Beginning in 2018

Wood Brothers Racing, the oldest active NASCAR team and one of the winningest teams in series history, and veteran driver Paul Menard, will join forces for the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENSC) season, the two parties announced today. The new partnership will see the team continue to compete full time for the coming seasons with Menard driving the legendary No. 21 Ford Fusion.

Team Penske Set to Expand to Three-Car Team in 2018

Team Penske announced today that Ryan Blaney will join the organization as a full-time driver in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) beginning in 2018 as the team returns to a three-car operation in NASCAR’s premier series. The 23-year-old Blaney, who also signed a multi-year contract extension with the team, will pilot the No. 12 Ford Fusion, beginning with the annual non-points “Clash” event at Daytona International Speedway in February.

CHEVY MENCS AT POCONO 2: Team Chevy Advance

Chevrolet established a winning tradition at Pocono Raceway in 1977 when Benny Parsons took the brand to Winner’s Circle for the first time at the ‘Tricky Triangle’. Since then, Chevrolet has gone on to record 31 more victories for a total of 32, making the Bowtie Brand the most successful manufacturer at the 2.5-mile venue.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Pocono Advance

Stenhouse has nine Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) starts at Pocono Raceway with an average starting position of 21.9 and average finishing position of 24.4. In his first career start at the ‘Tricky Triangle’, Stenhouse Jr. won the ARCA race in 2008.

Trevor Bayne – Pocono Advance

Bayne makes his sixth career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) start at Pocono Raceway on Sunday afternoon. Bayne recorded a best finish of 13th in the June 2016 MENCS event.

Ford Performance NASCAR: Blaney and Ford Looking For Pocono Sweep

Ryan Blaney will be trying to become the first Ford driver to sweep both Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races at Pocono since NASCAR Hall of Famer Bill Elliott did it in 1985 when the green flag falls for Sunday’s Pennsylvania 400. Blaney became the 14th different Ford winner at the “Tricky Triangle” and is one of four current Ford drivers with at least one series win on the three-turn track (Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano and Kurt Busch).

TEAM PENSKE, BRAD KESELOWSKI AGREE TO CONTRACT EXTENSION

Team Penske announced today that the organization has reached an agreement with Brad Keselowski to remain with the team as the driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion well into the future. The multi-year extension ensures that the 2012 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) Champion and 23-time MENCS race winner will continue to be an integral part of Team Penske – the only team he has driven for full-time over the course of his 10-year MENCS career.

NASCAR Top-10 Power Rankings: Indianapolis

1. Martin Truex Jr.: Truex and Kyle Busch wrecked as they battled for the lead on a restart with 50 laps remaining at Indianapolis. Both cars were unable to continue, and Truex's No. 78 became engulfed in flames. Truex finished 33rd.
