Channing Tatum, actor and producer of “Logan Lucky,” Steven Soderbergh’s summer heist movie filmed at Charlotte Motor Speedway, will serve as Grand Marshal of the Coca-Cola 600 on May 28.

Just days after a dramatic win at Talladega Superspeedway, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Roush Fenway Racing have announced a multi-race partnership with Little HUG Fruit Barrels. The iconic barrel-shaped fruit drink will serve as a primary partner for two races with Stenhouse and the No. 17 team in June at the Monster Mile of Dover and the Tricky Triangle of Pocono.

Michael McDowell and Leavine Family Racing (LFR) are excited to get back to 1.5-mile racing, something they have struggled with up until the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) season.

Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 Roush Performance Products Ford Fusion, sees this weekend’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) race at Kansas Speedway as an opportunity to return to the consistent ways that has defined the early part of the 2017 season for the Roush Fenway Racing driver.

Overall, Roush Fenway has started 152 races across the MENCS, NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), earning a total of nine wins, 41 top-five finishes, 71 top-10 finishes and has an overall average finish of 13.2.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. earned his first career victory in his 158th start on Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway. The 29-year-old Roush Fenway Racing driver shoved Kyle Busch on the final lap then veered to pass him for the lead, before speeding away from the field to the win.

Trevor Bayne will make his sixth Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) start at Kansas this weekend. Bayne earned his best finish of 17th at the 1.5-mile oval in the Oct. 2016 MENCS event.

The world, as we know it, must be ending. Forget about all the politics and the violence and the hypocrisy and the attempts to mix cultures that just don’t mix. I am talking about something serious here. The television ratings from the race at Talladega are the worst in more than 20 years. Talladega. The worst. What in hell is going on?

But did you know that Jason Leffler won the pole for the inaugural Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway in 2001? He won it in the No. 01 Dodge for Chip Ganassi Racing with a speed of 176.499 mph and is the only driver to capture his first career Cup Series pole at Kansas.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the Camping World Truck Series travel to Kansas Speedway this weekend. The Truck Series race is set for Friday at 8:30 p.m. while the Cup Series Go Bowling 400 will close out the activities Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. Both events will be televised on FS1.
