Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion, earned a 17th-place finish in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) event at Kansas Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

Greg Biffle was making gains Sunday at Kansas Speedway in his No. 16 FordPass Ford when a flat tire sent him to pit road under green. The tire cost Biffle valuable track position, but in the closing laps he was poised to get back on the lead lap. The much needed caution didn’t come and Biffle was left with a 25th-place finish.

Kevin Harvick led 74 laps in route to victory in the 267-lap Hollywood Casino 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Kansas Speedway. The win is Harvick’s fourth of the season, and second-career victory at Kansas.

No matter the result next week at the Alabama roulette wheel, Kevin Harvick is moving on to the next round of the Chase after scoring the victory in America's heartland.

After battling an ill-handling race car early in the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, Ryan Blaney brought the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion home in 14th place this afternoon.

We just weren’t very good on the short runs so I had to play defense instead of offense on restarts. After 15 laps we were equal to, not way better to the point we could make up a bunch of time."

Matt Kenseth will lead the field to the green flag on Sunday afternoon in America's heartland.

Alex Bowman, subbing for Dale Earnhardt, Jr., powered the No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet SS to a fifth-place starting position for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, the halfway point of the 2016 Chase for the Sprint Cup Series championship campaign. Bowman led a five-car Chevrolet SS contingent in third and final round of qualifying for the 267-lap/400.5-mile race.
