Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion, was involved in a late-race incident with under 20 laps to go in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon, relegating the Roush Fenway Racing driver to a 38th-place finish.

Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing team rallied in the last 100 laps of the Bad Boy Off Road 300 to post a strong 12th-place finish at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this afternoon.

LOUDON, N.H -- If practice fast can turn into Sunday fast, Kyle Larson could be on your short list of who wins the Bad Boy Off Road 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The driver of the Target Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates Chevrolet paced the first Saturday practice with a speed of 132.186 and finished off Happy Hour with a speed of 132.577.

Carl Edwards earned the Coors Light Pole Award for the Bad Boy Off Road 300 Friday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (Sunday, 2 p.m. ET, NBCSN, PRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) by recording a third-round lap of 135.453 mph in his No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota.

“What didn’t happen is we didn’t go fast enough to make a long story short. It was a solid effort for our Love’s Travel Stops team. We’re trying really hard. This fire off speed has been tough on us, especially at Loudon. You look at the last race and it was kind of the same way. Our race speed was OK, and I was happy with that.

"We had a really solid practice and had a better qualifying session today. We kept getting faster throughout practice, and overall, our handling in our No. 44 Shaw's Ford was one of the best we've had all season as a team. We had a decent run in qualifying the first time out, but just needed a little bit more to advance into Round 2.

Asked if there's any pressure in the second race of a round if you don't win the opening race of the round, Joey Logano said he'll just approach it the same way he would any other race.
