Judy Allison, wife of NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Allison, died Friday following complications from surgery, the Allison family announced. She was 74. The Allisons released a statement Friday night: "The Allison Family is sad to announce the passing of Judy A. Allison, age 74, after complications from surgery earlier today at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville.

Kyle Busch, driver of the No. 18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) and current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion, had successful surgery this morning to remove two metal plates in his left foot and a metal rod and screws in his right leg.

Jeff Gordon, a highly respected four-time Sprint Cup Series champion, has been awarded the NMPA Spirit Award for the fourth quarter of 2015 by the members of the National Motorsports Press Association. The award is designed to recognize character and achievement in the face of adversity, sportsmanship and contributions to motorsports.

Richard Petty Motorsports announced today the addition of Chris Heroy as Crew Chief for Brian Scott. Heroy brings four years of experience as a Sprint Cup Series crew chief. The team announced Scott's addition to the team last week.

Tommy Baldwin Racing has announced that Nikko RC/Toy State will become the majority sponsor of driver Alex Bowman and his No. 7 Chevrolet team for the 2016 season. Announced Tuesday at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, team owner Tommy Baldwin was joined on stage by Toy State President Andy Friess and driver Alex Bowman.

Three of the most legendary names in motorsports have been selected for induction into the National Motorsports Press Association Hall of Fame.
