NEWTON, Iowa (Oct. 3, 2023) – NASCAR today announced that it is bringing its first-ever NASCAR Cup Series race to Iowa Speedway on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. CT on USA Network. This inaugural Cup Series race in Iowa Speedway culminates a weekend that will also include the NASCAR Xfinity Series at 2:30 p.m. CT on USA Network and ARCA Menards Series racing on June 14-16, 2024.

Ryan Blaney won Stage 1 at Talladega Superspeedway and held off Kevin Harvick in a wild finish to win the YellaWood 500 and lock in his spot in the Round Of 8.

The 29-year-old Blaney from High Point, North Carolina, led eight of 188-scheduled laps and beat Kevin Harvick by 0.012 seconds to grab his second Cup Series victory of 2023 and transfer into the Playoff's Round of 8.

Aric Almirola qualified on the pole in the No. 10 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford at Talladega Superspeedway and will lead the field to green for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series YellaWood 500. It was his sixth Cup Series career pole and his first this season.

The 22-year-old Burton from Huntersville, North Carolina, will return for a third full-time campaign with Wood Brothers Racing in 2024.

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Talladega Superspeedway this weekend for the second race in the Playoffs Round of 12. Hendrick Motorsports driver, William Byron, secured his spot in the next round with a win at Texas Motor Speedway last Sunday and can breathe easy as NASCAR heads to the unpredictable 2.66-mile track.

The 32-year-old Preece from Berlin, Connecticut, took to SiriusXM NASCAR Radio to announce that he will be returning for a second full-time Cup Series season with SHR in 2024.

William Byron took charge on the final restart, overtaking Chase Briscoe and Bubba Wallace for the lead on Lap 262. Byron held on to win the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas.

The 25-year-old Byron from Charlotte, North Carolina, led the final six of 267-scheduled laps and overtook pole-sitter Bubba Wallace during a six-lap shootout to notch his sixth Cup victory of the 2023 season and deliver a milestone victory for Hendrick Motorsports.

Bubba Wallace earned his first pole of the season Saturday afternoon at Texas Motor Speedway with a qualifying lap of 188.337 mph. It was his first pole of the season and the second career pole for the driver of the 23XI Racing No. 23 Toyota.
