The NASCAR Cup Series playoffs begin this weekend at Darlington Raceway and all four Stewart-Haas drivers will be in the field of 16.

With the pressure of an extremely close battle for the final spot in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs squarely on their shoulders in the regular season finale at Daytona International Speedway, Matt DiBenedetto and the crew of the No. 21 Menards/Dutch Boy Mustang came through when it counted and now head to Darlington Raceway among the elite 16 teams in the sport.

William Byron, driver of the No. 24 Liberty University Camaro ZL1 1LE, won the Coke Zero Sugar 400 NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) race at Daytona International Speedway in a wild overtime finish, and secured a spot in the upcoming 10-race season-ending Playoffs.

William Byron entered Saturday’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway – the final regular season race of the NASCAR Cup Series season – four points ahead of Hendrick Motorsports teammate and 7-time champion Jimmie Johnson for the 16th and final playoff spot.

Brad Keselowski used a different strategy Saturday night at Daytona International Speedway and was rewarded with a 10th-place finish. The driver of the PIRTEK Ford claimed his 19th top-10 finish of the 2020 season in the Coke Zero Sugar 400.

Clint Bowyer and Matt DiBenedetto clinched two of the final playoff spots in the regular season finale at Daytona as Ford put three Mustangs inside the top-10 Saturday night.

Oh, yeah! I had confidence in (crew chief) Chad (Knaus) and the guys that we could get four tires and make the most of it. So, I’m just extremely blessed, and this is incredible.

Denny Hamlin (third) and Martin Truex Jr. (fourth) drove to top-five finishes to lead Toyota in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at the Daytona International Speedway on Saturday evening.
