As Paul Menard heads into the final seven weeks of his time as a full-time driver in the Monster Energy Cup Series, it’s been on his mind that he’ll likely never again drive a Cup car on the tracks remaining on the schedule.

Richard Childress Racing at Dover International Speedway ... RCR has earned four Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series wins at Dover International Speedway, one with Jeff Burton in September 2006 and three with Dale Earnhardt behind the wheel, including both events at the Monster Mile in 1989 as well as the spring race in 1993. RCR has also earned one pole award, 24 top-five and 57 top-10 finishes in 173 combined starts at the high-banked, one-mile oval. Childress, a former driver in NASCAR's top division, contributed three of those top 10s from 1976-1980.

“Every racetrack we visit has its unique challenges, but Dover is always towards the top of the 'most challenging' list. It's tricky to pass and we don't have as much tire falloff as we did in the past, so you might not get as many opportunities to really drive through the field. I'm looking forward to having our partners at The Pete Store on the car with us this weekend. I think we'll be able to see some great speed from our No. 34 Ford Mustang.”

Richard Childress Racing announced today that Tyler Reddick, defending NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion, will be driving the No. 8 Caterpillar Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for the 2020 season.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) and Roush Fenway head north to Delaware this weekend for the return trip to ‘The Monster Mile,’ a track Jack Roush has had major success at over the years. Combined across the three national series, a Jack Roush Ford has won 17 times with 140 overall top-10 finishes.

Three NASCAR series take on the ‘Monster Mile’ in Dover, Delaware, the ARCA Menards Series heads back to Indiana while POWRi begins its final month of the season in Illinois.  

The 2019 season is a year of celebrating special anniversaries, and with that in mind Richard Childress Racing (RCR) will help celebrate long-time partner Lucas Oil's 30th anniversary by running a commemorative scheme on Daniel Hemric's No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for this weekend's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event at Dover International Speedway.

After a successful partnership at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in July, DriveSmart Warranty announced today that they returning to Rick Ware Racing and will sponsor the team’s efforts in Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway.

Dover International Speedway Preview: The Series returns to Dover International Speedway for Sunday’s 400-mile race around the “Monster Mile.” The race marks a career milestone for Hamlin: his 500th Cup series start. A win would be Denny’s first career victory at Dover and would be the team’s fifth win of the 2019 season.

DIBENEDETTO BY THE NUMBERS: In nine Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series career starts at Dover, Matt DiBenedetto has an average start of 30.4 and an average finish of 29.9 and has completed 3,272 of 3,615 (90.5 percent) career laps at “The Monster Mile.”  DiBenedetto’s best finishing position at Dover is 20th which he earned in May’s event earlier this season.
