Richard Childress Racing's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series history at Darlington Raceway ... Richard Childress is tied for third in all-time car owner victories with Holman-Moody and the Wood Brothers at Darlington Raceway with eight wins each. Dale Earnhardt collected all of RCR's victories at the South Carolina-based track. In 121 collective starts, RCR boasts 23 top-five and 40 top-10 finishes at the 1.366-mile egg-shaped oval with five different drivers including Clint Bowyer, Earnhardt, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton, Ryan Newman and Robby Gordon. The Welcome, N.C.-based organization holds an average starting position of 17th, an average finishing position of 18.8, has completed 37,943 of the 41,866 contested laps (90.6 percent) and has collectively led 2,606 laps.

Austin Cindric will honor Ford’s racing heritage by running a scheme matching the first front-engine Mustang GTP this weekend at Darlington. Ford’s front-engine Mustang GTP made its debut in 1983 in an IMSA series event at Road America. Cindric will make his first career start at Darlington Raceway in this No. 60 throwback featuring the Ford Hall of Fans logo on the hood.

In celebration of the NASCAR Throwback weekend at Darlington Raceway, Richard Childress Racing will honor longtime friend and former test driver Dave Marcis. Matt Tifft's No. 2 Surface Sunscreen Chevrolet Camaro will sport a throwback paint scheme representing Marcis' 1976 No. 2 Chevrolet during the NASCAR Xfinity race at the track deemed "Too Tough To Tame."

Conor Daly posted a strong run in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Road America, driving his No. 6 Roush Fenway Ford Mustang into the top-10 before succumbing to a late part failure that forced a 31st-place finish.

After starting the final stage in 10th, Ty Majeski was caught up in a late-race spin with three laps to go forcing him to settle with a 28th-place finish in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) race at Road America.

Camry driver James Davison (eight) was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) race at Road America.

Matt Tifft Earns Career-Best Second Place Finish After Starting From the Pole at Road America "We had a great No. 2 Dragon Alliance Chevrolet Camaro all weekend long at Road America. It handled well during our practice session, just needed a couple adjustments done to it. It was awesome to get our first pole of the year at a road course."

Justin Allgaier pulled away for his fourth NASCAR Xfinity Series victory of the year Saturday at Road America. Allgaier’s JR Motorsports No. 7 Chevrolet led 14 of the 45 laps in the Johnsonville 180. His second straight road-course win this season was the ninth of his Xfinity Series career.

August 23, 2018. A fixture in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series for more than a decade, “Racin’ Jason White” is taking the next step in his racing career and will make his first ever start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with Reaume Brothers Racing this coming weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) in Bowmanville, Ontario.
