Martin Truex Jr.’s victory late Saturday night at Kentucky Speedway gives the reigning Monster Energy NASCAR Cup champion four trophies on the year, establishing him unquestionably among the top-tier threesome of 2018.

Roush Fenway rookie driver Austin Cindric will make his second start at New Hampshire Saturday to mark his debut at the track in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Cindric’s first start at Loudon was in 2017 competing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series where he finished as a top-ten contender with an eighth-place finish.

​Richard Childress Racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway ... Richard Childress has four victories as a team owner at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with Robby Gordon (2001), Kevin Harvick (2006) and Clint Bowyer (2007 and 2010). In 124 starts at the 1.058-mile oval, Childress also has two pole awards, 16 top-five and 40 top-10 finishes with 10 different drivers including Dave Blaney, Jeff Burton, Bowyer, Austin Dillon, Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Green, Gordon, Harvick, Ryan Newman, Steve Park and Mike Skinner.

Coughlin will utilize chassis no. 026 for the mid-week race at Eldora Speedway. This chassis has been raced two previous times, once in 2017 in the fall race at Martinsville Speedway, and then again at Martinsville, in the spring of 2018 by Coughlin.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series will all be in action at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this week and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be at Eldora Speedway. Check out the full schedule below, which is subject to change.

Ryan Reed drove his No. 16 Drive Down A1C Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang to an eight-place finish under the lights Friday evening at Kentucky Speedway. Reed started the race ninth and despite a tight-handling condition was able to drive his Ford through the field to earn a solid top-10 finish at Kentucky.

Austin Cindric qualified and started fourth in the No. 12 LASIK Vision Institute Ford Mustang in Friday night’s Alsco 300 at Kentucky Speedway, the highest of any rookie in the 40-car field. On lap 5, Cindric reported that his Ford Mustang was tight through the center of the corners, which was hurting his corner exit. However, on lap 13, he reported the handling of the car had started coming back to him, much like it had in practice during the team’s long run.

Camry driver Christopher Bell was victorious in Friday night’s NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) race at Kentucky Speedway.

COLE CUSTER, No. 00 Haas Automation Ford Mustang – “It was tough. We had a lot of cautions there and we weren’t very good firing off so that kind of hurt us. I’m happy that we got our car a lot better throughout the weekend , our Haas Automation Mustang, but we just need to figure out how to get it a little bit better so we can compete for a win. We’re really fast at the end of a run, but we can’t compete at the start of a run, so we’ll go back and figure it out.”
