Roush Fenway Racing heads back to “Jerry World” this weekend as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) prepares to do battle at Texas Motor Speedway for the first time in 2018. A Roush Fenway Ford has been the “Lonestar” in victory lane 18 times across NASCAR’s three major touring series.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series head to Texas Motor Speedway after the Easter break. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is off. Check out the tentative full schedule below, subject to change.

RCR has earned 15 total championships (six Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championships with Earnhardt in 1986, '87, '90, '91, '93 and '94, six NASCAR Xfinity Series titles, two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series titles and one ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards title) and was the first organization to win titles in NASCAR's three national series.

News and notes:  In a season where visiting tracks for the first-time has become normal, Boyd will return to Texas Motor Speedway for his second race at the 1.5 mile tri-oval. "I'm really excited to get back out to Texas," says Boyd. "This year has been all about learning new tracks, so it will be nice to go back to a place where I've been before. Texas is just fun. I love the people, the atmosphere, and of course the racing. Hopefully we can have a good run and have some fun." Gallagher and the No. 23 Allegiant crew will utilize chassis no. 224; a chassis used only one previous time this season, by Gallagher, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where he finished 10th.

Ryan Reed will make his ninth NASCAR Xfinity Series start at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. In his eight previous starts at the 1.5-mile track, Reed has finished 23rd or above and has five top-15 finishes.
