The 2017 season officially begins this weekend as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, XFINITY Series and Camping World Truck Series travel to Daytona International Speedway for the first points races of the year. Please check below for the complete schedule of events.

Robert W. Kettelle Roofing Contractors of Florida will serve as a key associate sponsor for the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller team’s three-way run in Saturday’s Xfinity Series opener at Daytona International Speedway.

Team Penske announced today that it has renewed its partnership with Fitzgerald Glider Kits, North America’s leading glider kit assembler, for the 2017 NASCAR season. The new agreement will extend the relationship into the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), while continuing Fitzgerald’s involvement in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS).

On Feb. 18, fans young and old remembered the loss of NASCAR legend, Dale Earnhardt, who was killed in a last-lap crash at Daytona international Speedway in 2001. However, few fans realize that there were fatalities before Earnhardt, that occurred at Daytona. These were drivers also wanting victory at one of the greatest tracks of all time. Let's take a moment and remember those drivers as well.

To kick off their sophomore season of NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) competition, B.J. McLeod Motorsports (BJMM) will field three cars in Saturday afternoon’s PowerShares QQQ 300 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

Richard Childress Racing's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series history at Daytona International Speedway ... Dating back to 1976, Richard Childress Racing has won 11 poles and collected five points-paying victories at the most-storied race track on the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series circuit.

Wallace will make his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday afternoon. In five previous starts at the famed superspeedway, Wallace has recorded two top-10 finishes with a best finish of sixth coming in Feb. 2016.

In 2015 Reed captured his first NXS Series win in the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway. Reed started eighth, led 14 laps and made a last-lap pass for the victory.

Looking to continue building success both on and off the track, Menards has renewed its partnership with Richard Childress Racing's NASCAR XFINITY Series program for a fifth year. Menards will serve as a primary sponsor for select races throughout the 2017 season with Paul Menard and Ben Kennedy driving the No. 2 Chevrolet and Brandon Jones in the No. 33 Chevrolet.
