G&K Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: GK) announced Wednesday the sponsorship of JD Motorsports with Gary Keller’s new driver Ryan Preece and the No. 01 Chevrolet for the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity series.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, XFINITY Series and Camping World Truck Series head to Daytona International Speedway as Speedweeks continues culminating with the 58th edition of the Daytona 500 Sunday.

Wallace will make his fourth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Daytona on Saturday afternoon. In three previous starts at the famed superspeedway, Wallace has recorded one top-10 finish, a seventh in the July 2014 event.

Ryan Reed has four starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) at Daytona International Speedway (DIS). In this race last year, Reed captured his first NXS win after starting eighth, leading 14 laps and making a last-lap pass for the victory. In his other three starts at DIS, Reed finished 18th, fourth and 13th after starting 39th, fourth, and eighth, respectively.

DARRELL WALLACE JR., No. 6 Selfio Ford Mustang – WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE THIS SEASON? “Our biggest challenge I think is tough. On the competition side the JGR cars will be fast. Those guys have speed but I think we have made a lot of improvements over at Roush through the off season and we are still continuing to do that. I think for us, it is just getting on a consistent roll. We didn’t have that last year. We definitely learned a lot and were putting people and ideas in certain spots that we need to focus on to have that breakout year. I think this is our year to really get people to look and jump on board and be a part of our program. I think we have to make sure we are not missing any key elements of that.”

Richard Petty Motorsports announced today that NASCAR driver Jeb Burton will compete full time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series for the 2016 season. Burton will debut the No. 43 Ford Mustang this Saturday in the XFINITY Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway.

After making his NASCAR XFINITY Series debut at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway this past November, Garrett Smithley has found a home for the 2016 NASCAR race season at JD Motorsports with Gary Keller.
