Tuesday morning, Atlanta Motor Speedway announced that the NASCAR traveling circus of the Camping World Truck, XFINITY and Sprint Cup Series will return on the weekend of Feb. 26-28, 2016 following the 58th Daytona 500.

Last week in Charlotte, Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team lost a potential Top-10 finish due to a mishap on pit road. While bad luck is part of racing, the team showed great speed and left Charlotte encouraged. This week, the team heads to Kansas Speedway.

Richard Childress Racing's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series history at Kansas Speedway ... In 61 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Kansas Speedway, Richard Childress Racing has one win, visiting victory lane in 2013 with Kevin Harvick, among five top-five and 19 top-10 finishes. The Welcome, N.C.-based organization holds an average starting position of 20th, an average finishing position of 15.3, has completed 15,945 of the 16,141 contested laps (98.8 percent) and has collectively led for 281 laps around the 1.5-mile race track.

Elliott Sadler will make his sixth NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) start at Kansas this Saturday afternoon in Kansas City, KS. In Sadler’s previous five starts at Kansas, he has two top-five and four top-10 finishes. Last year, Sadler started and finished seventh in the NXS race at Kansas.

Reed has one start in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Kansas Speedway. In 2014, Reed finished 12th after starting 14th.

Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Kansas Speedway marks Chris Buescher’s third start in the series at the 1.5-mile track. In his two previous starts, Buescher’s best finish is 16th. Last season, Buescher qualified third and led 20 laps before being collected in an incident mid-way through the 200-Lap race.

Bubba Wallace makes his first NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Kansas Speedway on Saturday. Wallace currently rides a streak of eight consecutive top-10 finishes at 1.5-mile tracks, dating back to Las Vegas in March.

Mason Mingus will make his second NASCAR XFINITY Series start Saturday at Kansas Speedway, driving the No. 97 VroomBrands Chevrolet Camaro for Obaika Racing.

Austin Dillon completed the season sweep at Charlotte Motor Speedway by winning the Drive for the Cure 300 presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, backing up his win at CMS in May. Ty Dillon finished sixth, Brian Scott was 13th and Brendan Gaughan 15th.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Elliott Sadler finished 10th in his special pink No. 1 OneMain Financial Ford Mustang on Friday night in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) race at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS).
