In 149 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Bristol Motor Speedway, Richard Childress Racing boasts nine wins - seven with Dale Earnhardt, one with Kevin Harvick and one with Jeff Burton - three pole awards, 32 top-five and 62 top-10 finishes.

No driver has opened a season with seven consecutive top 10s since Jimmie Johnson in 2005. Until now. Three different drivers – Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano and Martin Truex Jr. – have each opened the year with seven straight top-10 finishes. Unsurprisingly, they rank 1-3 in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver points standings.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads back to a place that has been good to Ford through the years, Bristol Motor Speedway, where the annual Food City 500 is scheduled for Sunday afternoon. Ford is coming off a season sweep in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Bristol last season, and a touring series sweep in August when the manufacturer won the NASCAR Camping World Truck, XFINITY and Sprint Cup races on consecutive days.

With 26 laps to go, Erik Jones had a solid restart, clearing both Brad Keselowski and Dale Earnhardt Jr. to take the lead. He would then cruise the rest of the way to scoring his first career XFINITY Series victory in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway. Speaking in the media center afterward, Jones called the victory 'surreal'.

Carrying the positive momentum forward, Darrell Wallace Jr. put together a solid performance on Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway, scoring a sixth place finish. For Bubba, it marks his best finish of the season to date.

Teenager Erik Jones turned his first NASCAR XFINITY Series pole at Texas Motor Speedway into his first series victory Friday night, schooling NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stars Brad Keselowski and Dale Earnhardt Jr. en route to the checkered flag in the 19th annual O’Reilly Auto Parts 300.

After scoring his best career XFINITY race finish with a third at Auto Club Speedway, Erik Jones scored his second consecutive pole award in the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway. Jones lapped the mile and a half oval with a lap of 29.163 seconds.

The racing action continues this weekend as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and XFINITY Series head to Texas Motor Speedway. The Camping World Truck Series is off for the next few weeks but will return May 8 at Kansas.

“It’s great for AdvoCare to come out here and make their presence known this weekend in Texas,” said Bayne. “This is their home racetrack and I know this place means a lot to them, hopefully, Bubba and I can give them the finishes they deserve.”

Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) and Toyota driver Denny Hamlin enjoyed the fresh success with a victory at Virginia's Martinsville Speedway two weeks ago. It was Hamlin's fifth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) triumph at the half-mile race track and his first of the 2015 season.
