NASCAR O'Reilly Series

Kyle Busch captured the checkered flag in Saturday afternoon's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Texas Motor Speedway.

JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang – FINISHED 2nd “We had a good Discount Tire Ford. The long run is where we got beat and that is when they got by us there right before that last pit stop and was able to put some ground on us and able to hold it that last run. We just have to figure out how to get the long run going. We were good up to 15 or 20 laps but then got so loose you couldn’t hang onto it and he drove away. We will have to look into that a little bit.”

After swapping the lead back and forth with Joey Logano throughout the day, Kyle Busch would lead the final 13 laps en route to scoring the victory in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway. It marks the 70th victory of Busch's career and his seventh victory of the season. More importantly, though, it marks the 100th career victory for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Nationwide Series.

As Sadler enters the 2015 season, it will be the most important season in his career. There have been some reports that Sadler ultimately would like to get back to the Sprint Cup Series. He will turn 40 years old next season which means the opportunity to move back to the Sprint Cup Series is getting less likely as the years pass by.

OneMain Financial announced today that it will be the primary sponsor of the Roush Fenway Racing No. 1 OneMain Financial Ford Mustang driven by Elliott Sadler in the 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS). This sponsorship reunites the two organizations as OneMain Financial (previously known as CitiFinancial) sponsored Roush Fenway entries in the NASCAR Nationwide Series from 2008 to 2010.

Making his 19th NNS start at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend, Mike Bliss is ready to get back to the track after two weekends off. With an average starting position of 16.8 and an average finishing position of 21.0, Bliss has turned over 3,000 laps at the 1.5-mile speedway. After his 32nd place finish in the spring race at TMS, Bliss is ready to get back on track this weekend.

Texas Motor Speedway is David Starr's home-track and a track where he has nine NASCAR Nationwide Series starts. With an average starting position of 26.1 and an average finishing position of 26.0, Starr is ready to take on the 1.5-mile tri-oval speedway. Earlier this season, Starr qualified 12th and finished the 200 lap race in the 15th position. Whataburger will be on board Starr's No. 44 Camry this weekend during the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge.
