David Starr will be behind the wheel of the No. 44 Niece Equipment Camry in his first career NNS start at Kansas Speedway this weekend. Starr has 11 NCWTS starts at the 1.5-mile tri-oval speedway, with two top-10 finishes. Starr has over 20 starts in the Nationwide Series on tracks 1-2miles in length.

This weekend's NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kansas Speedway is the first race of the year at the one-and-a-half mile track, but both Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team has proven successful at Kansas.

In 53 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Kansas Speedway, Richard Childress Racing has one win, visiting victory lane in 2013 with Kevin Harvick, among five top-five and 15 top-10 finishes.

Chris Buescher will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Kansas Speedway this Saturday. The rookie of the year contender has one previous start at the 1.5-mile track, coming in 2013, where he started 10th and finished 16th.

Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) and Biagi-DenBenste Racing announced today they will partner to enter Corey LaJoie in four of the final five NASCAR Nationwide Series races this season. LaJoie will pilot the No. 98 Medallion Financial Ford owned by Biagi-DenBenste Racing in the events at Kansas Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Dover International Speedway officials announced today that the track will install a new catch fence that will be in place for the May 29-31, 2015 NASCAR race weekend. The process of removing the current fence began on Monday, Sept. 29, one day after the “AAA 400” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the Monster Mile, is scheduled for completion by Jan. 1, 2015.
