What’s better than a single scoop? A double dip! That’s what race fans in Richmond will get in 2015, as NASCAR returns to Richmond International Raceway twice next season, and it will be on our traditional dates. Fans will rise to their feet for NASCAR excitement April 24 & 25 and September 11 & 12.

Joey Logano comes into the Atlanta weekend still looking for his first NASCAR Nationwide Series win of the season. One week ago teammate Ryan Blaney earned his first of the year at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Labor Day Party...Coming off a season high finish last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, James Buescher and the No. 99 Rheem team look to keep that ball rolling at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Buescher has one previous NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at the 1.5-mile oval in the past. Buescher however has three NASCAR Camping World Truck (NCWTS) starts including one top-five and two top-10s.

Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial team travel to Hampton, Ga., this weekend to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event on the 1.5-mile oval track at Atlanta Motor Speedway. In eight Nationwide Series starts, Sadler has one top-five and four top-10 finishes at Atlanta. In addition, the veteran driver has 24 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Atlanta, with three top-10 finishes and 18 laps lead.

Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) marks Chris Buescher’s second start at the 1.54-mile track. In his previous start at AMS, Buescher started 19th and finished 13th in just his eighth overall NNS start overall.

Roush Fenway Racing rookie of the year contender Ryan Reed will make his first NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday evening.

After a one-week hiatus, Eric McClure returned to Nationwide Series competition Friday night at his hometown track, Bristol Motor Speedway. Despite qualifying 31st, McClure was able to rebound to post a track-best finish of 20th in Friday night's Food City 300. As a result, McClure remains 19th in the NASCAR Points Standings.

The Atlanta Motor Speedway will welcome Nickelodeon’s iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) for its NASCAR Labor Day weekend, Aug. 29-31, 2014. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo will bring their fast-action, high-adventure style of fun to the NASCAR Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series for a weekend of family entertainment, including two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed cars, which will be driven by Nationwide Series driver Chris Buescher and Sprint Series driver Michael McDowell.

Mike Bliss and the No. 10 M&W Logistics Camry qualified 22nd for the Food City 300 Friday morning. Bliss's team made adjustments to the car during qualifying to get the Camry race ready. Due to the rain delay at the start of the race, NASCAR called a competition caution at lap 60. When the first caution came out at before the competition caution, the No. 10 team decided to stay out to maintain position

Ty Dillon qualified seventh for the Food City 300 and was the highest qualifying Richard Childress Racing entry at Bristol Motor Speedway. Teammates Brian Scott, Cale Conley, and Brendan Gaughan qualified ninth, 10th and 11th respectively.
