Ryan Reed and the No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop DiabetesSM presented by Lilly Diabetes team finished 12th at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course after going to a back-up car for the second week in a row. After a qualifying accident, Reed carefully worked his way through traffic to bring home his Mustang with another top-15 finish.

Landon Cassill turned in a stellar performance Saturday in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, rallying from the back of the field to score a 14th-place finish.

After making his pit stop a little earlier than his competitors, Chris Busecher was able to stretch the fuel and hit all his marks around the 13-turn Mid-Ohio Sports Car road course to score his first career Nationwide Series victory in his 30th career start.

In its continued efforts to evolve the safety of its sport, NASCAR announced Friday that it will add a rule that addresses on-track incidents as part of its race procedures. The rule, listed as Section 9-16, will be an addendum to the NASCAR rule book and will apply to all of its racing series, effective immediately.

When the checkered flag waves at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Saturday, one driver will be especially hoping the experience has been a sweet treat worthy of his car for the day.

The road-racing skills of Jeffrey Earnhardt will be tested for the second straight week this weekend as the Nationwide Series visits the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200.

After failing to finish last week’s road-course race at Watkins Glen International because of suspension issues, Landon Cassill hopes to bounce back this weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

After posting a track-best finish of 20th at the season's first road course event, Eric McClure had high hopes coming into Saturday's Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International, his last road course race of the season. Despite qualifying 29th and struggling with transmission issues for the second weekend in a row, the Virginia driver was still able to post a track-best finish of 24th.

Jeff Green will pilot the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry this weekend for the final road course event of the 2014 season. This will be his 3rd scheduled race of five that he will pilot the car for the No. 14 team. Green competed in the inaugural Nationwide Series event at Mid-Ohio one year ago for the Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® team and he was on-track to earning a top-15 finish when he was involved in an accident on the final lap.
